General information

What is Seven Peaks?
It's an exciting preaching, Adult Life Group and Small Group series coming this fall! For eight weeks, we'll experience a guided tour through the mountains and shorelines of Upper Michigan as well as through the seven peaks of spiritual growth. The "seven peaks" are seven key practices of a growing disciple, and each peak is a separate adventure in the journey of faith. This Seven Peaks trek will help you discover your journey of growth and will guide you to new spiritual heights. It will be a church-wide ministry for all age groups.

How can you be part of this adventure?

Become a group leader

If you have never led a small group before, your first step is to fill out an application online. We're looking for faithful people who have a shepherd's heart for others, are available to being used by God, and are teachable and willing to learn.

Once you've applied, you will receive information on your next steps from Pam Dodge, Ward's Director of Spiritual Formation and Adult Ministries. All new leaders are strongly encouraged to attend the upcoming Future Leaders/Teachers/Facilitators Training on Wed. 9/8 and Wed. 9/15. This will also include the Seven Peaks orientation.

Already a leader?

If you're currently a group leader (or have led a group in the past) and you want to participate in the upcoming Seven Peaks study, please plan to come to ONE of the mandatory Seven Peaks Orientation meetings, which will be held on Wed. 9/1, Tues. 9/7, or Wed. 9/22. Send an email to jessica.siemasz@wardchurch.org to reserve your spot.

Optionally, you can also attend the Future Leaders/Facilitators Training if you feel it would benefit you as a leader; however, it is not mandatory. Please email Jessica to reserve your spot at this training, as well.
